November in South Florida means new dining series, cultural openings, and a calendar that rewards the people who plan ahead.

November 1: Three Ways to Start the Month

The Goodtime Hotel in Miami Beach kicks off November with a Day of the Dead pool party on Sunday, November 1, from noon to sundown. Presented by Juan, Please, the pool transforms into a Día de los Muertos celebration with music and cultural energy. Tickets required. That same afternoon, The Marker Key West Harbor Resort hosts a free live concert with Rob Benton — a performer known for blending percussion, looping, beatboxing, rock and hip-hop into acoustic sets — from 4 to 7 p.m. poolside. And Delilah Miami launches Sundays on the Water, its new weekly waterfront party series, with Miami-based duo Paperwater spinning from 3 to 9 p.m. on the patio overlooking Biscayne Bay. Cocktail towers, punch bowls, and tableside champagne service are all in play.

November 4: Wagyu, Wine, and Pasta

Uchiko Miami Beach hosts a Wine & Wagyu dinner on November 4 — a 10-course tasting experience paired with six wines from Napa Valley winemaker Jayson Woodbridge's Hundred Acre, Summer Dreams and Fortunate Son labels. The menu includes A5 wagyu, bluefin tuna nigiri, crab and caviar handrolls, and Hokkaido scallops. Tickets are $575 per person, and attendees get the rare opportunity to purchase Hundred Acre bottles without the winery's four-year waiting list. Also on November 4: Shooters Waterfront hosts its Women of Wine Series, welcoming Erath Winery head winemaker Leah Adint for a complimentary curated tasting paired with charcuterie and cheese from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. And Plum Market Aventura continues its Art of Hosting a Dinner Party series with a winter floral design workshop — guests leave with a seasonal arrangement they made themselves.

November 5–10: Theater, Veterans, and a U.S. Premiere

Miami New Drama opens Gandhi and the Jew at Lincoln Road's Colony Theatre on November 5, running through November 29. Selected by The New York Times as one of its shows to see across the U.S. this fall, the play uncovers the surprising bond between a young Gandhi and a Jewish architect named Hermann Kallenbach — and it marks the 10th anniversary season for Miami New Drama. From November 7 to 10, The Betsy South Beach honors veterans with two parallel programs: a screening of its short documentary Nothing Can Be Done, But Something Can Be Said (created with the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus) at BBar, and The Betsy Orb illuminating community letters, poetry, photographs and videos honoring veterans and their families nightly from 8 to 11 p.m.

November 7: Powerboat Week in Key West

The Marker Key West Harbor Resort hosts a poolside Powerboat Week party on November 7 from noon to 4 p.m., celebrating Key West's 45th annual Race World Offshore World Championship. Presented with Good Boy Vodka — snacks, samples, and swag included.

November 9: BLUR Opens at MAD Arts

BLUR makes its U.S. premiere at MAD Arts in Dania Beach on November 9, running through January 4. The internationally acclaimed XR theater experience — an Official Selection of Venice Immersive at the Venice International Film Festival — merges live performance, motion capture, VR and AR into a 45-minute, actor-led production for small groups. Set in a near future where cloning and de-extinction are reality, it asks one question: what if we could defeat death? Tickets start at $49.99 at yeswearemadarts.com.

November 8 & 22: Women's Empowerment Market at The Goodtime

The Goodtime Hotel hosts the Women's Empowerment Market by Herpreneur on November 8 and 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the hotel's Breezeway. South Florida women-owned businesses selling fashion, jewelry, beauty, wellness, home decor and artisanal treats. Free admission, and RSVP holders get 20% off at the Goodtime Café.

November 12–15: UNIQLO Opens, Polo Comes to the Beach

UNIQLO opens its Lincoln Road location on November 12 — one of its first two Miami stores, showcasing lightweight essentials and versatile wardrobe staples rooted in Japanese innovation. That same weekend, the Miami Beach Polo World Cup runs November 12 to 15, bringing professional polo to the sands of Miami Beach.

November 14: Atlantic Village's Holiday Edit

Atlantic Village hosts Style Series: The Holiday Edit on November 14 from noon to 6 p.m., curated by The Bungalow Agency. Small-batch global fashion and accessory brands, crafting activations, hair and beauty stations, fitness classes and live music. Kid- and pet-friendly. Free parking. Murano by Ferraro's happy hour — $10 cocktails every Tuesday through Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. — is the easy reason to stay.

November 19: Art Walk, Tango, and a New Public Installation

Lincoln Road Art Walk returns on November 19 — the third Thursday of every month — with galleries activating new exhibitions, artist meet-and-greets and giveaways. This month, Nigerian-born artist Oluwatobi Adewumi debuts The Stories We Carry, a public art installation of oversized suitcases and suspended bag tags about migration and discovery, just ahead of Art Week. That same evening, Lincoln Road's open-air tango season returns at the Euclid Oval: free lessons from professional instructors, followed by three hours of social dancing under the stars. The monthly series runs through April 2027.

November 21: Christmas Tree Lighting

Lincoln Road's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting is November 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. Hot chocolate, holiday crafts, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, tree lighting at 7 p.m., and live music to follow.

November 29: Sunday Breeze at The Goodtime

The Goodtime Hotel closes out November with Sunday Breeze on November 29 from 6 to 10 p.m. — a sunset social bringing together Caribbean, Latin and Afrobeat sounds with live entertainment by DJ Gairy Sweetness. A $30 ticket includes a signature welcome cocktail and passed bites. The series continues on the last Sunday of every month.

All Month: The Recurring Calendar

White truffle season at Sexy Fish Miami runs daily through November — freshly shaved tableside at $12 per gram. Donna Mare Italian Chophouse runs pasta-making classes every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 6 p.m. ($100++ per person, includes dinner and pasta to take home), and Domenica della Lasagna every Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m. — a family-style, reservations-only experience for groups of four or more at $79++ per person. Sexy Fish's Sundown Somewhere Happy Hour runs Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m. at the bar. Grand Public Sunday Football Club in Coconut Grove runs every Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. with game-day specials, beer towers and a live DJ. Lincoln Road's free community yoga runs every Sunday morning in the Euclid Courtyard. Plum Market Aventura's Art of Hosting series continues November 18 with a Holiday Wine Pairing Seminar. And Martini & Mahjong Mondays at Shooters Waterfront runs biweekly — November 2 and 16 — starting at 7 p.m.
