Silversea Just Dropped 103 New Voyages — and Several Depart From South Florida
The luxury cruise line’s 2028–2029 collection is built around the world’s most compelling cultural moments, from Carnival in Venice to truffle season in Tuscany. Round-trip sailings from Miami and Fort Lauderdale are part of the lineup.
Part of our ongoing curation of what it means to live, love, and play in the Magic City.
Silversea has unveiled its Voyage Collection 2028–2029, titled “Let the World Surprise You” — 103 voyages across 219 destinations in 56 countries, timed to the cultural moments that make a destination worth visiting. General sales open October 8, 2026.
For South Florida travelers, the Caribbean deployment is the most immediate draw. Silver Ray, Silver Nova, Silver Spirit, and Silver Shadow will anchor 38 Caribbean and Central America voyages between November 2028 and March 2029, with round-trip departures from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and San Juan. Itineraries range from eight to 12 days, with stops in St. Barts, Antigua, Anguilla, and St. Kitts.
The Mediterranean, Built Around the Calendar
Silver Nova and Silver Dawn will cover 17 Mediterranean voyages between October 2028 and March 2029, calling at 53 destinations across 12 countries. Silver Dawn overnights in Venice for Carnival — including an evening event inspired by Casanova — and positions in Funchal, Madeira, for New Year’s Eve, with the island’s fireworks visible from the ship. Additional sailings add Alexandria, the Great Pyramids, and Istanbul.
S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages: Truffle Season and Asian Markets
New additions to Silversea’s S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages include three Wine & Truffle sailings aboard Silver Dawn from October through December, tracing the truffle trail from Livorno (gateway to Tuscany) to Palamos in Catalonia — with truffle-hunting excursions, vineyard tours, and onboard chef programming. Four Asian Markets sailings aboard Silver Muse run between Singapore and Hong Kong, led by local food experts with chef-guided market tours and hawker stall visits.
Grand South America 2029
The marquee voyage is a 75-night round-trip circumnavigation of South America aboard Silver Nova, departing Fort Lauderdale on January 13, 2029, and returning March 29. The route includes a Panama Canal transit, scenic cruising of the Antarctic Peninsula, and overnight stays in Manaus, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Callao (Lima), and Cartagena. Three exclusive events are planned: a sunset reception in St. Barts, reserved seating at Rio’s Sambadrome for Carnival, and a private rooftop event in Cartagena.
Australia, New Zealand, and Asia
Silver Moon covers Australia and New Zealand across 10 voyages, including a New Year’s Eve overnight in Sydney. Silver Moon and Silver Muse together complete 26 Asia voyages, adding eight new ports — including Yeosu, Miyako-jima, and Maizuru (Kyoto) — with sailings timed to Japan’s cherry blossom season and Hong Kong’s Lunar New Year.
