The Resy Credit Rooms: Where Your Amex Works Right Now in Miami

The Amex Resy Credit is $250 a year toward dining at participating restaurants. Miami has more qualifying rooms than almost any other city in the country — and the list skews heavily toward Brickell, with serious outposts in Little River, Buena Vista, North Bay Village, and Coral Gables. Thanksgiving is 26 days out. These rooms fill in the first two weeks of November.

Part of our ongoing curation of what it means to live, love, and play in the Magic City.

The American Express Resy Credit gives cardholders $250 per year toward dining at participating restaurants booked through Resy. It is one of the more useful card benefits in the premium card space — not a statement credit that requires a specific merchant category, but a direct dining credit at restaurants you would actually want to go to. Miami has more qualifying rooms than almost any other city in the country. Here is where to use it.

The Brickell Concentration

The overwhelming majority of Miami's Resy Credit rooms are in Brickell, which has become the most competitive dining corridor in South Florida. Within roughly a half-mile: Cipriani, The Living Room by Cipriani, MAMO, Claudie, Sexy Fish, Gekkō, Komodo, Felice, Osaka Nikkei, Chateau ZZ's, Motek, The River Oyster Bar, QUINTO, Embarcadero 41, Marion, Delilah, Bondi Sushi, Hutong, DC Pie Co, Salty Flame, Tacombi, Seia, Amazonico, Rosa Sky, and Blackbird Ordinary. That is 25 serious rooms in one neighborhood. The credit applies at all of them.

The Rooms Worth Booking for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is November 26. The rooms that make the most sense for the holiday — and that qualify for the Resy Credit — are Cipriani (the yacht-club formality, the room that feels like an occasion), MAMO (intimate, lush, the kind of Italian that takes the meal seriously), Boia De (the room locals fight for, Buena Vista, small and excellent), Sunny's Steakhouse (the martini, the room, the steak — Little River), and Daniel's Miami in Coral Gables (full traditional menu, the most reliable Thanksgiving format on the list). These rooms fill in the first two weeks of November. Book this week.

Off the Brickell Corridor

The Resy Credit list extends well beyond Brickell. Lafayette Steakhouse operates as a classic steakhouse format — more about the cut than the scene. Seia is the quieter Brickell option, a room that takes the food seriously without the bottle-service energy. Outside the corridor: Boia De in Buena Vista, Sunny's Steakhouse in Little River, Daniel's Miami in Coral Gables, and Petralunga in North Bay Village. These are the rooms that appear on the Resy Climbing list — the reservation data that shows which rooms locals are actually filling right now.

How to Use It

The credit applies to reservations made through Resy at participating restaurants. The $250 annual benefit resets each calendar year. If you have not used it yet in 2026, you have two months left. The Thanksgiving window — and the Art Week window that follows three weeks later — is the highest-value period to deploy it. Book through the Resy app or resy.com, confirm the restaurant is listed as a participating location, and the credit applies automatically to your Amex statement.

The full list of Miami Resy Credit rooms is longer than what is covered here. The rooms above are the ones PGM would book. The principle is simple: if you carry an Amex and you are going to spend $250 at a restaurant anyway, there is no reason not to use the credit. Miami has enough qualifying rooms that the only question is which one is right for the evening.
