PAMM Is Hosting a Free Artist Talk on October 15. Anina Major and Her Curator, One Hour, No Ticket Required.

On Thursday, October 15, PAMM hosts a free artist talk as part of Anina Major: The Sacred Mangrove — one of the more quietly compelling exhibitions currently on view in Miami.

Major works at the intersection of ancestral Bahamian weaving knowledge and contemporary ceramics — translating textile traditions into three-dimensional form. The talk pairs her with PAMM Curator Jennifer Inacio for a conversation about process, material, and the ideas behind the work. It runs 7 to 8 PM and is free to attend.

If you have not seen the exhibition yet, this is a good reason to go on a Thursday evening rather than a weekend.
