Monarch Athletic Club, the Los Angeles-based physician-led luxury wellness club, has opened its East Coast debut at Class X by RIVANI in Miami Beach. The 8,000-square-foot club occupies the third floor of Robert Rivani's $125 million ultra-luxury redevelopment at 1691 Michigan Ave., steps from Lincoln Road — joining Bar Shishi, Playboy Enterprises, and Daymond John as tenants of the building.
Co-founded by Dr. Ryan M. Greene, D.O., M.S., Monarch is built around a single premise: your doctor, trainer, physical therapist, and nutritionist should actually talk to each other. Rather than requiring members to manage separate appointments across multiple providers, Monarch brings all four disciplines under one membership, with a coordinated team working from a shared understanding of each member's health history, goals, and data. It's the level of care typically reserved for professional athletes — applied to anyone who joins.
Every membership begins with a comprehensive assessment: bloodwork, a medical evaluation, and a review of health history and goals. Performance testing follows — including jump testing that measures explosive lower-body power and left-to-right leg asymmetries — and those results become the foundation of a personalized workout plan. Two blood draws are included annually, with the option to add more. The equipment throughout is performance-grade: Sorinex strength equipment and Life Fitness treadmills, the same you'd find in a professional athletic facility.
Recovery is built into the routine. Members have access to contrast therapy, sauna, cold plunges, compression therapy, and Solius — a personalized UVB light therapy that supports the body's natural vitamin D production. IV therapy and massage therapy are available as additional services. All Access members also receive one-on-one personal training and physical therapy, with physician-prescribed exercises designed for injury prevention rather than just recovery.
Three membership tiers are available. The Longevity tier at $500 per month has already sold out. The Silver membership at $1,290 per month includes six personal training sessions, access to the Miami Beach club, and a range of wellness and medical benefits. The All Access membership at $1,850 per month includes daily personal training and physical therapy, unlimited preventive medicine, 24/7 physician access, executive physicals, monthly IV therapy, nutrition benefits, and access to all Monarch locations. Apply at monarchclubs.com/membership or email memberships@monarchclubs.com.
