Hard Rock Live in Hollywood has hosted some of the most memorable nights in South Florida's concert history. Miranda Lambert on March 12 added another one to the list.
Miranda Lambert played Hard Rock Live in Hollywood on March 12, and the Texas singer-songwriter delivered a 21-song set that moved confidently through her catalog — from the early defiance of "Kerosene" and "Gunpowder & Lead" to the more reflective material that has defined her recent work. She opened with "Fastest Girl in Town" and moved through "Kerosene," "Heart Like Mine," "White Liar," and "If I Was a Cowboy" before "Vice," "Bluebird," and "The House That Built Me" drew the first sustained singalongs of the night. "All Kinds of Kinds," "In His Arms," and "Famous in a Small Town" preceded a mid-set medley that ran through "What Am I Gonna Do / Outrunnin' Your Memory / Thought You Should Know / Good Horses / Choosin' Texas" in quick succession. "Baggage Claim" and a cover of Elle King's "Drunk (and I Don't Wanna Go Home)" kept the energy high before "Geraldene," "Mama's Broken Heart," and a cover of Audra Mae and The Almighty Sound's "Little Red Wagon" led into the closing "Gunpowder & Lead," which ended the night with the kind of full-room catharsis that only that song can produce.
