Miami Art Week 2026: Where to Stay
Hotels that put you close to the fairs, a few that become part of the week themselves, and some newer options worth knowing about.
Part of our ongoing curation of what it means to live, love, and play in the Magic City.
Where you stay during Art Week matters more than it might seem. The week is dense — fairs, openings, dinners, late nights — and proximity is a real luxury. A few hotels become part of the week themselves through programming and collections. Others are simply well-located and comfortable.
The Betsy - South Beach (1440 Ocean Drive) is a MICHELIN Key hotel on the quieter end of Ocean Drive that takes art seriously year-round — permanent galleries in nearly every communal space, The Betsy Orb as a public digital art canvas, live jazz nine times a week, a poetry rail etched into metal. During Art Week it is one of 12 hotels in the City of Miami Beach's No Vacancy project and the only non-museum institution included in Miami Beach's Culture Crawl.
Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club (3925 Collins Ave.) is a 357-room resort along the Beachwalk with a preserved art deco aesthetic — original terrazzo floors, lush greenery, a wraparound mezzanine. Mid-Beach, within easy reach of the Convention Center. Donna Mare Italian Chophouse on-site.
Bossa House Miami Beach (3900 Collins Ave.) is soft-opening during Art Week ahead of its January 2027 debut. A 97-room boutique hotel in a historic art deco building, part of IHG's Vignette Collection. Brazilian hospitality, a pool and garden, Brazilian-Mediterranean dining at Ginga. Worth watching.
The Goodtime Hotel (601 Washington Ave.) is designed by Ken Fulk and covers an entire city block in South Beach. 266 rooms, a 30,000-square-foot pool club, artwork curated by Tappan Collective throughout. Less than 10 minutes from the major fairs.
Hotel Continental Miami Beach (4000 Collins Ave.) is a 100-room Tapestry Collection by Hilton property in Mid-Beach with a 1950s MiMo-inspired pool and commissioned paintings by Danny O'Connor in the lobby. 72 Park (580 72nd St.) is in North Beach — one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, 35,000-square-foot amenity deck, 360-degree rooftop. Ezio's is on the ground floor.
In Brickell, Novotel Miami Brickell (1500 SW First Ave.) offers 275 rooms with convenient access to Art Miami, CONTEXT and NADA. Vista Rooftop Bar & Lounge has panoramic views of Biscayne Bay. A solid base if you are spending more time on the mainland side of the week.

The Quiet Room Problem: Where to Actually Have a Conversation at Dinner in Miami
Miami has a noise problem. Not a shortage of restaurants — a shortage of rooms where you can actually hear the person across the table. Gekkō, Komodo, Marion, Sexy Fish, Amazonico, Rosa Sky — these are rooms where the music is the point. MAMO, Claudie, Felice, Seia, Macchialina, Mandolin, Palma, Tâm Tâm, Babette, Fooq's — these are the rooms where the food is the point. Here is how to tell the difference before you book.
The Resy Credit Rooms: Where Your Amex Works Right Now in Miami
The Amex Resy Credit is $250 a year toward dining at participating restaurants. Miami has more qualifying rooms than almost any other city in the country — and the list skews heavily toward Brickell, with serious outposts in Little River, Buena Vista, North Bay Village, and Coral Gables. Thanksgiving is 26 days out. These rooms fill in the first two weeks of November.
Le Jardinier Has the Best Art Week Tasting Menu in Miami — and a Dessert Inspired by Picasso
Le Jardinier at the Design District is running a $190 five-course Art Week tasting menu from December 1–6. The final course — a dessert called Chef's Kiss, created in collaboration with Le Jardinier Houston and inspired by the Picasso-Klee-Matisse exhibition at PAMM — is the most editorially interesting single dish in Miami right now. Thanksgiving runs $185 per person, 12pm–9pm.
The Italian Moment: Why Miami Has More Good Italian Than Any City in America
Sixteen serious Italian rooms in one city. MAMO, Claudie, Felice, Boia De, Macchialina, Cipriani, The Living Room by Cipriani, North Italia, Donna Mare, A Pasta Bar, MIKA, Petralunga, San Lorenzo, Carnicero, Vitolo, Maison Ostrow. The concentration is not an accident. Miami's Italian moment is the result of a decade of chefs, investors, and diners deciding this is where the food matters.
