La Toya Jackson said it plainly: "You cannot really let your heart or emotions get too involved — because if you do, this is business. You've got to keep …" — and Premier Guide Miami was in the room when it happened.

On February 19, 2013, NBC hosted a press conference call for All Star Celebrity Apprentice , premiering Sunday, March 3 on NBC at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. Premier Guide Miami's Daedrian McNaughton was among the first journalists on the call. Below are La Toya Jackson's key exchanges.

Is this the most dramatic season yet?

It's very dramatic, it's very exciting. There is so much going on. You will see a lot of confrontations. It's just — it's going to be a blast. You'll love it. You will simply love it, everyone will.

What did you learn from your first season that you brought into this one?

I think I learned that personalities are individuals and you have to really be strong and steadfast no matter what happens. Stand by what you truly believe in and don't let anyone deviate you. And this time I learned you cannot really let your heart or emotions get too involved — because if you do, this is business. You've got to keep it business. And I think Donald is very, very good at that. He knows how to separate the two.

Were you hesitant to come back a second time?

Well I wanted to do it in the very beginning but the second time around I was a bit hesitant because I knew what I was faced with the first time. And I said you know what, you never give up. You always have to keep believing — you have to believe that you're going to be the winner, you're going to come through this really straightforward and strong. And I went for it. Because if I have learned anything, I have learned what Trump has taught us all: put your best foot forward and don't let anybody block you from anything you wish to do.

Who did you see as your biggest competition going in?

Love Miami

Love Miami covers the city's conversations — the interviews, the creative voices, the tastemakers and innovators who define South Florida's cultural identity. This is the pillar where Miami speaks for itself.

In the beginning of the show I thought the biggest competitor would probably be Penn. I just felt that. And Trace of course. However, I felt that I would have a lot of problems with Omarosa — and that was just a feeling. Because you can tell in the beginning when you see people sizing you out and saying little things to you. You're still polite to them but you're going, oh my God, it's going to be war at some point. And you know it's going to come.

What happened with Omarosa?

Absolutely brutal is right. I was told over and over she's very conniving and cunning and I just — you're faced with it. It's right there. She was brutal, absolutely.

Tell us about your charity — National Network to End Domestic Violence.

Domestic violence occurs all over the world and as we're speaking now there are women — and of course men — going through abuse at this very moment. They have no shelter, they feel they have no lobby, they have nowhere to go. So I'm here to let them know that we are doing something about it. There are shelters, there is an 800 number right there for you to call and get help. This charity was actually formed by the people themselves — kids and women who were suffering got together and said, this is what our charity is going to be about. I thought that was very commendable. You can never, ever, ever have enough awareness. And I truly believe that no one charity is better than the other — but just bringing awareness to it is what I'm here for.

You also have a new reality show coming up?

Yes, it's called Life with La Toya and it's on Oprah Winfrey's network. You guys are going to love it. It's wonderful.
