Four Women Who Shaped Latin Music. The Latin Recording Academy’s 2026 Leading Ladies.

Ten years in, the Latin Recording Academy’s Leading Ladies of Entertainment program has named its 2026 class — four women working at the intersection of music, business, and culture who have shaped the industry in ways that go well beyond their job titles.

This year’s honorees: María Fernández, Chief Operating Officer of Sony Music Entertainment Latin Iberia. Sandra Jiménez, Regional Director and Head of Music for Latin America and U.S. Latin at YouTube. Salomé Limón, producer, composer, sound engineer, and five-time Latin GRAMMY winner. María Rosa García “Niña Pastori”, singer/songwriter, six-time Latin GRAMMY winner and GRAMMY nominee.

The private celebration takes place during Latin GRAMMY Week in Las Vegas. Amazon Music returns as presenting sponsor for the third consecutive year and is donating to the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation’s Scholarship Fund.

“This year’s honorees embody the creativity, leadership and passion moving our industry forward,” said Rocío Guerrero, Director of Music, Latin-Iberia at Amazon Music — whose own Women Shaping Latin Music program runs alongside the sponsorship, spotlighting the female pioneers who changed Latin music and the artists defining what comes next.

This year’s class joins past honorees as eligible mentors in the Leading Ladies of Entertainment Mentorship Program, hosted by the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation alongside the Leading Ladies Symposium and Fireside Chat series. Moira Noriega produces the event under the direction of the Academy’s production team, led by Ayleen Figueras.

Latin GRAMMY Week is later this month in Las Vegas. For South Florida music events and what’s on this fall, check the Premier Guide Miami events calendar.
