Hoy Como Ayer's Salsa & Sip Returns for Season 2 Every Thursday Through November

Little Havana's historic Calle Ocho music venue Hoy Como Ayer is turning up the rhythm this fall with the return of Salsa & Sip: Season 2, anchoring a full weekly lineup of Latin music, dance, and nightlife. The popular Thursday series — now in partnership with Miami Bucketlisters — runs every Thursday from September 10 through November 19, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m.

General admission is $25 per person and includes a one-hour all-levels salsa class led by instructor Manny Robas, a longtime collaborator of Club Salsa Z; one complimentary cocktail, soft drink, or water; and passed Cuban-inspired bites — croquetas, crispy yuca, and mariquitas. No partner or prior experience required. Guests must be 21 or older. Tickets are available in advance or at the door (subject to availability).

The rhythm continues into the weekend. Latin Fever Fridays run from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. (music begins at 9 p.m.) with no cover, led by Hoy Como Ayer music director Andres "Cucu" Morales of Ear Candy Music as Vinyl Selector alongside Mario "El Gato" Espinosa on timbales. Sabrosura Saturdays begin at 9 p.m. and alternate with live band performances throughout the season. Late night happy hour runs from 10 p.m. to close on Saturdays, with $8 cocktails and $6 beers.
