Gioia Hospitality Is Bringing the Farmers to the Table. Literally.
On November 18, Daniel's, A Florida Steakhouse hosts The Florida Purveyors Dinner — an evening with Swank Farms, Quincy Cattle, Tiny Farms, Harpke Family Farm, and Hawthorne Creamery. Gioia Hospitality Group is making the case that the best dinner conversation starts with who grew your food.
Part of our ongoing curation of what it means to live, love, and play in the Magic City.
There's a version of farm-to-table dining that's mostly marketing — a line on the menu, a name you recognize, a story you're told after the fact. And then there's what Gioia Hospitality Group is doing at Daniel's, A Florida Steakhouse on November 18: pulling the actual farmers, ranchers, and producers into the room and letting the dinner speak for itself.
The Florida Purveyors Dinner is a one-night event built around the people behind the plate. Swank Farms, Quincy Cattle, Tiny Farms, Harpke Family Farm, and Hawthorne Creamery will all be represented — five producers whose work defines what Florida's agricultural community is capable of when it's given a proper stage. The evening starts at 6 PM and reservations are available through Resy.
The dinner is the latest expression of what Gioia Hospitality Group — founded by father-daughter duo Thomas and Kassidy Angelo — has been building across its restaurant portfolio: a genuine gathering place for food, conversation, and the kind of discovery that happens when you know where your meal came from. From intimate wine dinners to evenings like this one, Gioia has been consistent about one thing: the experience matters as much as what's on the plate.
Daniel's is at 620 S Federal Hwy in Fort Lauderdale. Wednesday, November 18 at 6 PM. Reservations are highly recommended — book through Resy or at danielssteak.com/fort-lauderdale.
