In what seemed to be a covert operation, a group of basketball professionals were secretly invited to the White House to challenge the President in a friendly game of basketball. Among the invited guests were Miami Heat player Dwyane Wade, former Miami Heat player Alonzo Mourning, Kobe Bryant, and others. Wade played on the President's team and helped secure a victory for the Commander-in-Chief.
PGM: How excited were you to be invited to the White House?
Dwyane Wade: I was very excited. Anytime you get an opportunity to be invited to the White House and it's not just for winning a championship — it's a personal invite — it is really special. Especially when you get invited period. It was really special to get that personal invite. I had an unbelievable time there. I had the chance to be around a lot of great people and just enjoy the experience. It will stay with me for a lifetime. Hopefully many more people get the opportunity to experience it. Alonzo Mourning and I represented the Miami Heat in a great way.
