Drink Pink — Gioia Hospitality Group
Available at Daniel's Miami, Daniel's A Florida Steakhouse, and D's Sports Bar, the Drink Pink is a bright, citrus-forward tequila cocktail built for a cause. Fifty percent of proceeds from every Drink Pink sold support organizations fighting breast cancer: 25% goes to Memorial Foundation's Pink Angels and 25% to The Pink-O Movement.
- 1.5 oz Lalo Tequila
- 0.75 oz Lime juice
- 0.5 oz Patrón Citronage
- 0.5 oz Grenadine
- 0.5 oz Watermelon
- 0.25 oz Agave
- 0.25 oz Montenegro
Directions: Measure all ingredients into a cocktail tin. Shake hard with ice for 10–15 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a pink ribbon.
The combination of watermelon, grenadine, and Montenegro gives the drink its deep pink hue — and the tequila base keeps it firmly in South Florida territory.
Pink Lotus ($18) — The Setai Miami Beach
The Setai's contribution is more delicate: a coconut fat-washed vodka base lifted by strawberry cordial, yuzu bitters, Prosecco, and soda water. For every Pink Lotus sold, $1 is donated to the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation.
- 1.5 oz Coconut fat-washed ALB Vodka
- 0.75 oz Strawberry Cordial
- 2 dashes Yuzu Bitters
- 1.5 oz Prosecco
- 1.5 oz Soda Water
Directions: Chill a large white-wine glass. Fill with quality cubed ice. Add vodka, strawberry cordial, and yuzu bitters. Give a brief, gentle stir to integrate. Top with Prosecco and finish with soda water. Give one gentle lift from bottom to top with the bar spoon — don't over-agitate and lose carbonation. Garnish with a small strawberry and edible flower bouquet.
The result is light, floral, and effervescent — exactly what you'd expect from The Setai's bar program, and a fitting tribute to the month.
Both cocktails are available through October 31. If you're going to drink this month, drink pink.
