Three Nights on Biscayne Bay: Cantina La Veinte Marks Día de los Muertos with a Seated Dinner Series
Cantina La Veinte is not doing a Halloween party. They are doing something more specific: three nights of Día de los Muertos dinners on Biscayne Bay, with a holiday menu, specialty cocktails, and the kind of room that makes the occasion feel earned.

Cantina La Veinte is not doing a Halloween party. They are doing something more specific: three nights of Día de los Muertos dinners on Biscayne Bay, with a holiday menu, specialty cocktails, and the kind of room that makes the occasion feel earned. The series runs October 27, 28 and 29, produced with Bucket Listers, with two seatings each evening at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tickets are $217.75 per person, all-in.
The price covers admission and the evening's food and drink — a set of Mexican dishes and cocktails created specifically for the series, not the regular menu. The room will be dressed for the holiday, with the marigold palette and the decorative weight that Día de los Muertos carries when it is done with intention rather than as an afterthought.
The Room Does Most of the Work
Cantina La Veinte's regular setting is already doing a lot: the bay outside, flowering vines over the tables, live music in the dining room. For the series, the restaurant layers the holiday's colors and its own seasonal menu on top of that. The result is a room that reads as a celebration of life and memory — which is what Día de los Muertos is — rather than a costume event with a Mexican menu.
Each seating runs 90 minutes. That gives the evening a clear shape: guests arrive for a timed table, move through the holiday menu, and either leave the floor to the 9 p.m. seating or carry the night into the bar. The format is efficient without feeling rushed, which is the right call for a dinner that is supposed to feel like a celebration.
What the Ticket Covers
At $217.75 all-in, the series is sold as a single experience rather than a cover charge with an a la carte menu behind it. That number belongs in the planning. Reservations run through Bucket Listers rather than the restaurant's own book, and each seating is capped by the room. The series is for guests 21 and over.
The series opened Tuesday, which makes it one of the earlier Día de los Muertos events on the Miami calendar this year — and the one with Biscayne Bay as its backdrop. Guests who miss the series can still book Cantina on any other night, but the holiday menu is a three-night affair.
