Art Basel Miami Beach: The Platinum Celebration

Through two decades of continuously showcasing cultural excellence from around the world, Art Basel Miami Beach returns with a platinum celebration.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary edition, Art Basel Miami Beach will present a record number of 282 exhibitors including 25 first timers and countless elaborate happenings and parties throughout the region representing emerging, modern, and contemporary works.

As a global stage, Miami will be abuzz with visitors and locals enjoying the amazing arts and designs of artists and galleries from five continents — North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Art Basel has tremendous impact on the cultural fiber of South Florida, particularly Miami, while solidifying the city as a major art metropolis.

Over the last two decades our show has not only reinforced its pivotal position in the region — uniquely bridging the art scenes of North and South Americas, Europe, and beyond — but also played a galvanizing role in the city's profound cultural transformation. — Marc Spiegler, Global Director, Art Basel

History has shown through the magnificent curation of the fair the significance of diversity to an event of this magnitude. Art Basel has continued that trend since its inception in 2002 to present a platform that's reflective of the world. The range and variety of participants included in this year's program adds to the uniqueness of Art Basel as a global forum in bringing everyone together.

The increasingly diverse range of galleries and artistic voices represented will make our show richer in discoveries than ever before. — Marc Spiegler, Global Director, Art Basel

Dan Gelber, Mayor of the City of Miami, is pleased with the city's investments in cultural assets and amenities which are beginning to pay dividends. "Our investment in our cultural assets and amenities is a result of Art Basel's example," he says.

Art Basel Miami Beach has cemented its position as a cultural worldwide event in the Americas that is not to be missed. This milestone anniversary is a must-attend event — it is truly the Super Bowl of the art world.

Art Basel, whose Lead Partner is UBS, will take place from December 1 to December 3, with preview days on November 29 and November 30 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Satellite fairs running concurrently: Art Miami + CONTEXT Art Miami (Nov 29–Dec 4), NADA Miami 2022 (Nov 30–Dec 3), Design Miami/ (Nov 30–Dec 4), Pinta Miami (Nov 30–Dec 4), Red Dot Miami / Spectrum Miami (Nov 30–Dec 4), SCOPE Miami Beach 2022 (Nov 30–Dec 4), Untitled Art, Miami Beach 2022 (Nov 29–Dec 3).
