A Miami Law Firm Is Offering 1,000 Free Uber Rides to Keep Drunk Drivers Off the Road This Halloween

Halloween is one of the most dangerous nights of the year on the road. According to NHTSA, 176 people were killed in drunk-driving crashes on Halloween night from 2020 to 2024 — including 31 pedestrians. In Florida, the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles recorded 2,590 crashes on Halloween 2022, resulting in 137 serious injuries and 21 deaths, with most happening around 7 p.m., when families with children were out trick-or-treating.

This year, Halloween falls on a Saturday — and clocks fall back that same night, adding an extra hour to one of the busiest party nights of the year.

To help reduce that risk, Amanda Demanda Injury Lawyers is offering 1,000 free Uber rides (up to $15 each) for residents and visitors in Miami-Dade this Halloween.

Step 1 — Sign up: Fill out the short form at callamandademanda.com/halloween (English) or callamandademanda.com/es/halloween (Español) with your name, email, and phone number.

Step 2 — Claim your voucher: After submitting the form, select 'Claim Voucher' to go to Uber and add the voucher to your account.

Step 3 — Take your free ride: Use the voucher anytime between 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 31 and 5:00 AM on Sunday, November 1 (Miami local time, after clocks fall back at 2 AM). No receipt needed — the voucher is redeemed directly in Uber.

1,000 vouchers available. Up to $15 per voucher. One one-way ride per person. Rides must be taken in Miami-Dade. First-come, first-served — no sign-up deadline until vouchers run out.

"Every year, we see what impaired driving does to families here in Miami-Dade," said Amanda Demanda, Founder of Amanda Demanda Injury Lawyers. "This effort gives people a safe, free alternative to getting behind the wheel after a night out. If even one accident is prevented because someone used a voucher instead of driving impaired, we've done our job."

Claim your free Halloween Uber ride at callamandademanda.com/halloween. Valid October 31, 5 PM – November 1, 5 AM. Miami-Dade only. First-come, first-served.
