Arsht Plus: Rhythm & Roots — Free Community Concerts

Afro-Cuban, Caribbean, and Latin Jazz at the Arsht Center — Free

The Arsht Center's Rhythm & Roots series presents free community concerts celebrating the musical roots of Miami's identity — Afro-Cuban, Caribbean, Latin jazz, and beyond — at one of the country's premier performing arts venues.

Miami's musical identity is rooted in the Caribbean and Latin America, and the Arsht Center's Rhythm & Roots series exists to celebrate and preserve that heritage. The free community concerts in this series bring world-class artists performing Afro-Cuban, Caribbean, Latin jazz, and related traditions to the Arsht's stages and outdoor spaces. These are not small community events — they are full productions at a venue that hosts the New World Symphony, Broadway touring shows, and international orchestras. The free access is a genuine commitment to the communities whose music is being celebrated.
