Timeless folk rock legend Neil Young will make a special afternoon appearance in the lobby of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in support of his “Repowering the American Dream” LincVolt automotive environmental initiative.
Attendees will get a rare, close-up look at Young’s proto-type LincVolt vehicle – a zero emissions, re-powered, 2.5-ton 19.5-foot 1959 Lincoln Continental convertible. The car will be accompanying Neil Young on tour stops to raise awareness about saving the environment and our world. The journey of the LincVolt car across the nation will also be documented on film to help publicize how this innovation can make a major difference in the knowledge, creation and use of clean power in the 21st Century.
Young’s official solo tour stop at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino later that evening at 8 p.m. is part of Hard Rock International’s “2010 Ambassadors of Rock” concert series.
