The Wynwood Farmer’s Market, Wynwood’s first and only farmer’s market, takes over the tents at Mana Wynwood – 2178 NW 2nd Ave Miami, FL, every Saturday from 11am to 6pm. The brainchild of Melissa Frantz and Angela Fernandez, the Wynwood Farmer’s Market invites locals to shop and sample delicious food and drinks from local farmers, including gourmet prepared foods, grass fed meats, handcrafted goods and wood bowls, plates and utensils, plants, herbs and natural food, and treats for pets.
“We are so excited to be the first and only farmer’s market in Wynwood,” said Melissa Frantz, Co-founder of the Wynwood Farmer’s Market. “Farmer’s markets are the ideal platforms to start and grow small businesses. They are, in a sense, the economic backbone of communities and societies, and are the ideal platform for entrepreneurs to test their products, grow their following and if desired, take them to the next level.”
Wynwood Farmers Market’s mission is to protect local farmers and artisans, encourage people to shop and support local businesses, while providing accessible, fresh foods for the community, food lovers, restaurants and chefs.
Their goal is to create a food community where farmers, chefs, artisans, and the public, learn and share together. In addition to food there is music along with local artisanal wine and beer.
