To celebrate the last “dog days of summer,” staff at Dr. Patty’s Dental Boutique and retailers at Victoria Park Shoppes rolled up their sleeves for a community dog wash benefitting Women In Distress of Broward County. One hundred percent of the $680.00 raised from the event will be donated to the Women In Distress 14thAnnual SAFEWALK-RUN 5K.
Patrons posed for photos with representatives from Women In Distress while shop owners pampered their puppies. Throughout the day, Victoria Park Animal Hospital was on-site to administer rabies vaccines and canine exams at a reduced fee and Jamba Juice kept pet-owners cool with free smoothie samples.
