Winn-Dixie invites South Florida shoppers to enjoy an afternoon of family, food and fun in anticipation of the 38th Annual Calle Ocho festival with mini celebrations at select Miami-area stores. As part of the celebrations, shoppers will enjoy a special cooking demonstration by celebrity Chef Minerva Vazquez. Known for her simple and easy to learn recipes, Vazquez will prepare easy Kraft and Nabisco recipes, such as Sangria Punch, Bacon Poblano & Cheese Mini Empanadas and JELL-O & Oreo Cake Pops.
In addition to the cooking demonstrations, event attendees will also enjoy outdoor, interactive brand experiences with Kraft, Coca-Cola and P&G, giveaways and more.

Eight Street at Calle Ocho, on Sunday, March 15, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for special appearances, including Chef Pepin, Kool-Aid Man, Planters Peanut Man, the Oreo Cooking Man, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, the Planters NUTmobile and the Coca-Cola Music Mobile, interactive brand experiences with Winn-Dixie, Kraft, P&G Oasis and Nabisco, live entertainment, face painting, product sampling, giveaways and more.
