Whoopi Goldberg comes to Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. on Friday, April 26, at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m. American Express cardholders can purchase tickets beginning Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m. Fans can access presale tickets beginning Thursday, Oct. 4, at 10 a.m. through Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

Goldberg is one of the few entertainers who has achieved EGOT status, having won two Emmys as the host of AMC’s “Beyond Tara: The Extraordinary Life of Hattie McDaniel” and “The View;” a Grammy for “Whoopi Goldberg;” an Academy Award for “Ghost;” and a Tony as the producer of “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” Goldberg has also won two Golden Globes for “The Color Purple” and “Ghost.” She is equally well known for her humanitarian efforts on behalf of children, the homeless, human rights, education, substance abuse and the battle against AIDS, as well as many other causes and charities. Among her many charitable activities, Goldberg is an UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

Goldberg has appeared in many films, including “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Sister Act,” “Corrina, Corrina,” “Boys on the Side,” “Eddie,” “The Associate,” “How Stella Got Her Groove Back,” “Girl, Interrupted” and “Rat Race.” She has voiced characters in such animated features as “The Lion King,” “Racing Stripes,” “Doogal” and “Everyone’s Hero.” She was part of Tyler Perry’s all-star film adaptation of “For Colored Girls…,” the Lifetime Original Movie, “A Day Late and a Dollar Short,” which she also executive-produced, Paramount/Nickelodeon Movies’ “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and the feature film “Big Stone Gap.” She produced the documentary short, “Coach,” about legendary Coach C. Vivian Stringer, for ESPN’s “Nine for IX” series. She produced and made her directorial debut with the documentary, “Whoopi Goldberg Presents Moms Mabley,” which premiered at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival. Goldberg has appeared in the television movies “It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie” and Showtime’s “Good Fences,” which she also co-produced. Goldberg will next be seen in Tyler Perry’s highly anticipated comedy “Nobody’s Fool,” opposite Tiffany Haddish for Paramount Pictures, in theaters on Nov. 2.

Goldberg’s many television credits range from series, mini-series and talk shows, to movies and specials. Earlier this year, she guest-starred on “Blue Bloods” and co-starred on the CBS drama, “Instinct” opposite Alan Cumming. She currently moderates ABC’s Emmy Award-winning “The View,” for which she has won a Daytime Emmy Award. Additionally, she has starred in “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” hosted her own syndicated late-night talk show, and executive-produced and starred in both the NBC sitcom, “Whoopi,” as well as Nick Jr.’s “Whoopi’s Littleburg.” She has also appeared in A&E’s “The Cleaner,” ABC’s “666 Park Avenue” and in the FOX series “Glee.”
