Venice Movie Stars Lounge locked down for the secret arrival of the casts of “A Bigger Splash” and “Janis” on board the Citroen C4 Cactus for the lounge’s transfers. Since the early morning technicians prepared the set for the TV interviews of director Luca Guadagnino and stars Tilda Swinton, Ralph Fiennes, Matthias Schoenaerts and Dakota Johnson and, at the opposite end of the lounge, for Amy Berg, director of the documentary “Janis”.
Angelo Quarti, host of the lounge, is satisfied: “We had two much awaited movies, by many suggested for an award, and for us it was a great honor.”
The cast of “A Bigger Splash” was welcomed by Quarti, Andrea Rossi, the director of the Venice Film festival Alberto Barbera who later commented: “We are now in the middle of the festival and we are very satisfied of the format and audience response. We also refined some organizational aspects and we move to the grand final. ”
The evening was dedicated to the sponsor Citroen, for a gala dinner reserved for the top management and their guests, followed by a film with red carpet. The four Citroen C4 Cactus during the 72. Venice International Film Festival are the official cars of the lounge for VIPs and actors.
