Trump National Doral® is pleased to announce the appointment of Didier Lailheugue as Executive Chef. Regarded as a culinary expert, Lailheugue offers more than 23 years of experience in kitchen management, development of recipes and menus, and has garnered high recognition from culinary experts.

Prior to joining the team at Trump National Doral®, Lailheugue served as Executive Chef with the reputable InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) for 10 years. During his tenure as Executive Chef, Lailheugue supervised all cuisine operations, menu creation, budgeting, food safety procedures, staff training, and forecasting. In addition to his position with IHG, Lailheugue held a significant role as the seasonal Executive Chef at the well-known Relais & Chateaux Group for six years.
Lailheugue’s creative expertise and culinary intellect is reflected in his early experience, having graduated from LEP Louis Darmante, in Capbreton, France. As a young chef, he trained under renowned chefs including Alain Ducasse, Patrick Henriroux and five rated Michelin Stars Restaurants in France. He has been a recipient of multiple awards including Best One Time Catering Event Award by Georgia Hotel & Lodging Association, Executive Chef of the Year Award for the InterContinental Hotel Group, Award of Excellence by French & American Chamber of Commerce, and various others. Lailheugue is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
