It’s summer in Miami and SKIN is in. This week the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim 2014 dives in while the Swim Show 2013 at the Miami Beach Convention Center showcases the seasons treanding collections in swimwear from emerging to top designers. And for those who are unable to attend the most talked about event in the city, I have compiled some other noteworthy events to check out while Miami is sizzling.

2nd annual Day at the Park
Monday, July 22nd
Little Lighthouse Foundation will host its 2nd annual Day at the Park on Monday, July 22nd. Over 120 children from the Miami Beach Boys & Girls Club will be taken to the Miami Seaquarium for a day of fun in the sun. Each child will receive free entry to the park, lunch, transportation and a commemorative t-shirt courtesy of Little Lighthouse Foundation.

NBC6’s Trina Robinson will emcee this major beauty trend show featuring their best beauty products and tips from national beauty experts. Nine cosmetic vendors will each get 4 minutes to speak about their one must-have product of the season focusing on skincare, complexion and color. Shoppers can also expect tons of giveaways, modeling, and DJ beats.
The store will open early at 7:30am for breakfast and the trend show will take place from 8:30am-9:30am.
The reservation fee is $25 which guarantees you a limited-edition travel bag packed with deluxe samples and is completely redeemable for products.
