THE NEIGHBOURHOOD BRINGS “SWEATER WEATHER” TO THE LEGENDARY FONTAINEBLEAU MIAMI BEACH

The Neighbourhood, an enigmatic California band, will take the BleauLive Stage on the Ocean Lawn at Fontainebleau Miami Beach on Friday, April 25, 2014. Vocalist Jesse Rutherford, guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels and bassist Mikey Margott will captivate the crowd with their moody hits “Female Robbery” and “Sweater Weather” that are famous for a unique blend of rock and hip hop.

Fontainebleau Miami Beach celebrates its golden age of entertainment by hosting today’s hottest recording artists, from top 40 to indie rock, with the BleauLive performance series. BleauLive moves beyond a traditional concert by crafting a fully immersive weekend where, in addition to watching The Neighbourhood perform, guests enjoy a number of “surprise and delight moments,” including unlimited access to the BleauLive Lounge throughout the weekend.

The Neighbourhood mysteriously appeared on the music scene in 2012 with an online track titled “Female Robbery” and no additional information about their background. As ambiguous details began to emerge, the group released a second track titled “Sweater Weather” with an accompanying video. By the time The Neighbourhood unveiled a free, self-release EP titled “I’m Sorry” in May 2012, the identity of the band was finally revealed. The 21-year-old Jesse Rutherford and four friends, all from California, formed The Neighbourhood in 2011 with a vision to create shadowy, emotional music with visuals to match. The band’s first full length album, “I Love You,” dropped in April 2013. The Neighbourhood continues to captivate critics and fans alike with their evocative combination of rock instruments with R&B and hip-hop elements.
