After a phenomenal debut in 2015, the Miami Beach event will once again combine top equestrian sport with the exciting mix of art, fashion and music events. Visitors will benefit from free access to the event on a first come first served basis. Due to the popularity of last year’s show, there will be extra seating to allow as many people as possible to witness Olympic and World Champions jumping on the beach with 10 hours of competition daily.

The ground-breaking destination for show jumping sees the world’s leading horses and riders competing on golden sands only metres from the Atlantic shoreline. The event will feature a rich schedule of top-level CSI5* classes, the American Invitational class and CSI2* classes for riders from all over the world. The Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Miami Beach will take place on Saturday afternoon, April 9th, with the stars of the sport in hot contention for the first honours of the season. Last year saw the formidable duo of Scott Brash (GBR) and Hello Sanctos take the early win, the first of three Grand Prix wins in his 2015 season, to the delight of thousands of fans and passers by lining the arena.

The addition of Miami Beach and Mexico City to the circuit’s calendar is part of the commitment to make show jumping more accessible to a wider audience all over the world. The exciting new destination of Mexico City follows hot on the heels of Miami Beach. Working closely with the Government and City representatives, the show will run for the entire weekend (15th – 17th April) in order to allow more fans the opportunity to witness the top horses and riders in action in the City during the weekend. The huge arena in the vast, ancient Chapultepec Park – which receives millions of visitors every year – will offer plenty of space for the visiting horses and the authorities are predicting a strong turn out.
