The 6th Annual Recent Cinema From Spain Film Series will bring the best of Spanish Cinema and their Stars to Miami from November 17th- 20th, 2016

 Now in its sixth year, Recent Cinema From Spain is a cultural highlight in Miami.  Over the last years, the premiere Spanish Film Series has brought the best of Spanish Cinema and their stars, including Javier Cámara, Antonio de la Torre, Goya Toledo, Juan Diego Botto, Miguel Ángel Muñoz, Amaia Salamanca, Lluís Homar, Miki Esparbé and many more to Miami. Last year, Recent Cinema From Spain was honored to have Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain attend the kick-off event for the film series.
Each year the annual four-day movie showcase attracts large crowds of moviegoers, young and old, from different cultural backgrounds, celebrating the diversity and richness of the most outstanding contemporary Spanish Films.
EGEDA (Spanish Audiovisual Producers’ Rights Management Association) and The Olympia Theater with the collaboration of ICAA (Spanish Institute for Film and Audiovisual Arts) present the 6th Annual Recent Cinema From Spain series in Miami from November 17th – 20th, 2016.
Held at the Olympia Theater, the series will showcase six of Spain’s most acclaimed films of the year. Ticket and pass holders will enjoy nightly premieres and participate in Q&A sessions with filmmakers and cast members following each film.  A red-carpet opening night gala will kick off the event on Thursday, November 17, followed by a VIP reception.
