A new old-world pizzeria has just opened up in Brickell bringing truly authentic Neapolitan pizza to the neighborhood.
Chef and restaurant owner Franco Stanzione has been certified as an official vendor of Neapolitan pies by the AVPN or Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana. Meaning that all pizzas are made in a wood-fired, domed oven, are 35 centimeters in diameter and are made using San Marzano tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella from Campania (the region that includes Naples), extra-virgin olive oil, and high-quality dough.
