Shooters Announces Full Moon Dinner Series

unnamed-9Shooters Waterfront brings the full moon’s magic and mystique to life with the launch of its monthly Full Moon Dinner Series starting Wednesday, March 23rd. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the restaurant will present a five-course beer pairing menu for $49 per person with seating on the picturesque dock. Guests will sit for dinner at 7 p.m.

While star- and sky-gazing from Fort Lauderdale’s Intracoastal Waterway, Sous Chef Brian Cornellius will lead guests through five tasting courses featuring paired brews specifically chosen to accentuate the palate.

The full moon festivities will commence with a welcome glass of the restaurant’s recently launched Shooters Ale. The new trademark beer, crafted locally by Biscayne Bay Brewery, carries light caramel and toffee notes and is rounded out by a smooth hop bitterness.

First Course: Snapper crudo spiced with coconut crème, confit kumquat, chives and cilantro foam paired with Funky Buddha Floridian.

Second Course: Honey garlic glazed shrimp and spinach salad topped with tamarind vinaigrette and toasted almonds paired with Blue Point Toasted Ale.

Third Course: Crusted lamb lollipop accompanied by barley risotto, poached pear and micro mustard greens paired with New Belgium Fat Tire.

Fourth Course: Chargrilled skirt steak topped with herb braised cremini mushrooms, cipollini onions and horseradish butter paired with Dogfish Head 90 Minute.

Fifth Course: Dark cherry swirled malted cheesecake in a chocolate feuilletine crust served with spiced crème anglaise, grilled stone fruit and paired with Brooklyn Brown Ale.
