Seminole Casino Coconut Creek will host an elegant six-course dinner paired with a unique selection of Knob Creek bourbons Friday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. The handcrafted menu will be served at the region’s most sought-after steakhouse, NYY Steak, located within the casino. Each sophisticated course will be paired with hand-selected Knob Creek bourbons that complement the dish. Courses include: Chestnut Bisque featuring duck confit, pear-raisin relish paired with a cocktail of Knob Creek Kentucky straight bourbon, roasted pear puree, Laurent-Perrier Brut and grated clove; Braised Kurobuta Pork Belly with foie gras mofongo, onion gastrique and a whiskey glaze paired with Knob Creek Smoked Maple served on the rocks; Kentucky Country Ham-Wrapped Monkfish with white bean vanilla-maple mushroom broth served with Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve serve neat; Dry-Aged New York Strip Steak accompanied by creamy corn and ham hock tater tots and a bourbon demi-glace served with a Knob Creek bourbon hand-selected by Seminole Casino Coconut Creek served neat; Hazelnut-Crusted Lamb Lion Medallion with cauliflower puree and rye-scented roasted garlic jus served with a cocktail composed of Knob Creek Rye Whiskey, Carpano Antica and Fernet Branca; and a Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie Cigar accompanied by eggnog ice cream and caramel sauce dessert.
The hand-selected bourbon served to compliment the fourth-course of New York Strip Steak is only available exclusively for the evening’s guests. The single barrel, No. 1950, was selected at the Knob Creek distillery by Seminole Casino Coconut Creek based on its rich flavor profile. The one-of-a-kind barrel yields 126 signature 750 milliliter bottles.
