Red, the Steakhouse offers chic New Year’s Eve options that won’t break the bank

Red, The Steakhouse – the authority on steak – is offering a decadent, yet affordable setting for those seeking a posh locale for ringing in 2011. For $150 per person, guests can kick off the night with an indulgent four-course dinner created by award winning Executive Chef Peter Vauthy in Red’s main dining room. Not hungry? With jaw-dropping panoramic views, including a clear view of the midnight fireworks, Red’s rooftop celebration kicks off at 9:00 pm and includes a champagne toast at midnigh, premium open bar, appetizers and music – all for $125 per person.  Guests can enjoy the four-course dinner and join the rooftop extravaganza after their meal for just $225 per diner.

“The perfect New Year’s Eve party must have three ingredients: great food and drinks, a sexy crowd and fireworks,” said Salvatore Geraci, General Manager of Red, the Steakhouse. “We’re offering our guests the best cuisine and service in town coupled with the most spectacular views of Miami Beach’s fireworks display. Red has the perfect recipe for the ultimate New Year’s Eve experience.”

While most restaurants offer a limited, pre-set menu for New Year’s Eve dinner, Red will be providing patrons with the choice of 50 selections.  Dinner begins with antipasti of aged, dried meats and fine cheese, and roles into a mouthwatering culinary experience complete with fresh salad, a generous entrée and a decadent dessert selection. After dinner, patrons are invited to head upstairs for the restaurant’s rooftop festivities lasting into 2011.

“While partygoers flock to Miami for New Year’s in search of hot weather and even hotter nightlife, the vast majority of New Year’s Eve offerings in South Beach come with a hefty price tag and little value.” said Brad Friedlander, owner of Red, the Steakhouse. “Our reasonably priced offerings offer the best views of South Beach’s fireworks display coupled with our award-winning cuisine. I can’t imagine a better way to ring in 2011.”

Bursting onto the South Beach scene in 2009, Red, The Steakhouse is Restaurateur and Owner, Brad Friedlander’s second location to its award-wining sister restaurant in Cleveland.  Featuring only the finest Certified Angus Beef Prime on and off the bone, Red’s menu – created by Executive Chef, Peter Vauthy – is a hybrid of classic cuisine and the freshest seasonal ingredients.  Everything from the sauces to garnishes is prepared from scratch – sure to convert even the staunchest of vegetarians into ravenous carnivores.  The menu is complemented by a bar boasting a selection of over 400 wines, including its own private blend and handmade signature cocktails, making Red’s hipster-filled bar an experience all its own. Red is located at 119 Washington Avenue.
