In the month of May, single-family home sales picked up just a little over the previous month, while condo sales continued to take a dive. According to information based on the data supplied by the Coral Gables, Homestead-South Dade, Kendall-Perrine, and Northwestern Association of Realtors or their MLS, in May of 2007 in Dade County, a total of 612 single-family homes sold, as compared to 594 homes sold in the previous month. There were 13,403 homes listed for sale in Miami-Dade in May, as compared to 13,440 in April. The condo market statistics were getting a bit dismal, with 785 condos sold in May, as compared to 830 units sold in the previous month.
