Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup Miami
EVA LONGORIA PARKER Named Honorary chair for the Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup Miami World-class event will benefit and support the Jackson Memorial Foundation, International Kids Fund (IKF) and Holtz Children’s Hospital.
Miami, FL (October 16th, 2009) – Today from The Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach ,Eva Longoria Parker, Actress “Desperate Housewives”, announced that she will be the honorary chair of the first Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup in Miami, , along with Loren Ridinger, Senior Vice President of Market America, as the Event Chair. The Jackson Memorial Foundation, International Kids Fund (IKF) and Holtz Children’s Hospital will be the benefactors of the event. The event’s goal is to raise much needed funds for children’s cancer research, care and treatment, in the hopes of one day soon ending children’s cancer.
The Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup is ignited by the desire to help Jackson Memorial Foundation, International Kids Fund (IKF) and Holtz Children’s Hospital, and takes place November 20th and 21st, 2009, in Miami. Participants’ will each raise a minimum of $25,000 online to enter their personal car which gives them the chance to draft a Celebrity Navigator such as Eva Longoria Parker; Adam Rodríguez, Actor, CSI: Miami; Lennox Lewis, former World Heavyweight Champion and many more. The higher the driver’s fundraising amount, determines the draft position earned to select the Celebrity who will accompany Drivers on their Scavenger Cup adventure throughout the city.
“All children should be given the opportunity to lead full, happy lives,” said Eva Longoria Parker, the Rally Honorary Chair. “Through this incredible event we can make a difference together and rally for kids with cancer!”

The Rally kicks off with an exclusive cocktail party, The “Qualifiers” Celebrity Draft Party, which will be held on November 20th, 2009 at Loren Ridinger’s home. Every driver will have the opportunity to draft from Celebrities such as: Eva Longoria Parker, Desperate Housewives; Adam Rodríguez, Actor, CSI: Miami; Amaury Nolasco, Actor, Prison Break; Eric Winter, Actor the Ugly Truth; Eva La Rue, Actress, CSI: Miami; Jennifer Morrison, Actress, House; John Noble, Actor, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers; Lennox Lewis, former World Heavyweight Champion; Marina Sirtis, Actress, Star Trek The Next Generation; Robin Antin, Founder, The Pussycat Dolls and Girlicious; Roselyn Sanchez, Actress, Without a Trace; Sofia Milos, Actress, CSI Miami. On Saturday November 21st, the “Start Your Engines” Brunch at The Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach will kick off the Scavenger Cup Rally. Participants will receive a Driver’s Manual filled with maps, tips and their first clue. Drivers will earn all-access status to the worlds of sports, food, media, entertainment, travel and fashion in up to seven unique pit stops throughout the Miami area. The evening ends at “The Winner’s Circle,” a star-studded gala dinner with a “Jeans & Jewels” theme, complete with decadent food, one-of-a-kind live auction, and award-winning entertainment by Alicia Keys.
