On Thursday, December 3rd, The People’s Influence, along with STK Rebel by lifestyle hospitality company The ONE Group, and ME by Meliá are teaming up to present an exclusive and unparalleled event experience during Art Basel 2015 entitled The Art of Opulence. The event will be hosted by Shark Tank’s Daymond John, and will showcase artist HAVI Schanz, photographer Alberto Van Stokkum, Ju Reams, and Delano Brown.
This one-of-a-kind celebrity and influencer filled event will take place at Private Key in the infamous art district of Wynwood, Miami. With a sensory theme centered on the concept of opulence, guests will be surrounded and stimulated by impactful visual elements, awaking the subconscious and opening up the mind with a lavish array of invigorating displays.
The Art of Opulence will be heightened by a full transformation of the venue by luxury hotel brand ME by Meliá, an innovative lifestyle brand belonging to Meliá Hotels International, into a plush, contemporary European-style lounge, signature to their hotels and resorts across the globe. The brand, which opens its first-ever U.S. destination in downtown Miami in early 2016, will create an alluring and lavish space reflective of Miami’s urban vitality and momentum for guests seeking to experience Miami’s signature and highly coveted lifestyle.
The evening will highlight beautiful artwork, coupled with illusions and some unexpected surprises. The well-known work of Miami-based artist HAVI Schanz, global fashion photographer Alberto Van Stokkum, and artist Ju Reams will be displayed throughout the night, transforming the venue into a visual masterpiece. Artist Delano Brown will be live painting a Ferrari inside the venue, displaying his signature style and artistic process as guests arrive at the venue. The entire event – including the décor, music and visual elements – will emulate host Daymond John’s passion for the arts and will be inspired by his personal taste.
To top off the elegance of the evening, signature bites will be provided by STK Rebel, the newest restaurant to hit Miami from globally recognized lifestyle hospitality company The ONE Group.
