Saturday, April 13 from 10am to 11pm

As part of Pérez Art Museum Miami’s (PAMM) Free Second Saturdays program, the PAMM Teen Arts Council (PTAC) will host That ‘80s Prom, featuring a full day of free art-related activities created by the museum’s very own PTAC members.
Inside the museum, PAMM’s Youth Art Programs Exhibition will be on view all day featuring the work of the Overtown Afterschool and Brick x Brick teen art programs. Outside on the terrace PTAC invites museum guests and families to make their own Prom Portraits as part of PAMM’s monthly free Second Saturdays, inspired by Lorraine O’Grady’s work “Art Is…”. Make a stop at O, Miami’s “Advice Tent” which will be on-site with local poets providing live answers to the public’s most dire personal questions.
The Teen Takeover continues at night when teens ages 13-18 are invited to a totally tubular experience, PTAC’s very own ‘80s inspired prom, carrying on the year-long celebration of PAMM’s 35th Anniversary. Teen guests will be treated to 80’s inspired treats while enjoying live-music and dancing.
