“TacoCraft has been a hit in Fort Lauderdale since it’s opening in 2014 and we couldn’t be more excited to be introducing this concept to the South Miami community,” said Charles Hazlett, Co-Founder of JEY Hospitality Group. “We’re looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming guests to enjoy TacoCraft’s unique menu, drinks and laidback atmosphere – hoping to become the go-to neighborhood taqueria!”

The menu will feature TacoCraft’s already popular Mexican street food inspired dishes created with the best of local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. Menu items will include a wide variety of tacos made with hand-crafted tortillas, homemade guacamole, hearty entrees, a quesadilla bar and more. Tequila lovers can indulge with a selection of more than 150 types of tequila and mescal. The restaurant will offer a 2-for-1 Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and a Taco Tuesday special featuring $2 tacos, $4 beers and $6 Margaritas. Brunch will be served on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature snacks, Mexican breakfast favorites like Huevos Diablos, Hangover Burrito and Dulce de Leche infused French Toast. The brunch will offer free bottomless Sangria and Mimosas for ladies as well as live music. The taqueria’s late night taco window will be open on weekends until 4 a.m.unnamed-89

TacoCraft South Miami will occupy a 3,000 square foot space offering indoor and outdoor seating for approximately 100 guests. Keeping with the concept’s urban artistic theme, the restaurant will be decorated with street art and hand painted murals created by local artists especially selected for the project. Overseeing day to day operations, will be general manager Nicholas Carmona, who is also the current general manager at ROK:BRGR South Miami. The restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 a.m. with a late night taco window.
