Maryel Epps at Kaspia Miami Every Sunday
The acclaimed Parisian institution, or in Miami commonly known as “the best Sunday brunch in town”, Caviar Kaspia welcomes one of America’s Gospel music legends, Maryel Epps, to its Sunday brunch. Epps brings high energy and charisma for a truly uplifting experience leaving diners with more than just a full stomach.
Caviar Kaspia Sunday brunch turned new “Jazzy Inspirational Brunch” hosts Maryel Epps for feasts and fine tunes. Maryel strolls from table to table, enticing diners to sing a few bars into her outstretched microphone while enjoying brunch at one of the hottest spots in town. Sunday Brunch entertainment is now part of Maryel’s image, as she states “I’ve always had a special place in my heart for them—and they’re fun!”
Even though the show is all Epps, Caviar Kaspia’s famous brunch menu doesn’t take second stage. With favorites including Eggs Barry, Scramble Eggs Norwegian, Scramble Eggs and Shaved Truffles, French Toast Brioche, Smoked Salmon Benedict, Steak & Eggs Kaspia and the out of this world Smoked Salmon Omelet, the menu goes hand in hand with a luscious Bloody Mary cocktail, Mimosa, or famous Webster Cocktail.
Formerly performing at the historical Astor Hotel, Epps originated her Gospel brunches at Lola in SoHo, then was invited to Miami Beach for an engagement, fell in love with the place and stayed. But she’s also traveled the world, performing with such greats as Billy Taylor, Bob Dylan, Chaka Khan, Clark Terry, Dizzy Gillespe, David Lee Roth, David Bowie, Nile Rogers, and Patti Labelle and Prince. She’s also recorded vocals on David Bowie’s album, Black Tie-White Noise, and background vocals for David Lee Roth. She has a CD in Japan, and is currently working on a new one in the United States.
Maryel Epps will be performing her gospel brunch from 12:30pm- 2:30pm every Sunday at Caviar Kaspia within The Webster boutique located at 1220 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach.
Caviar Kaspia has a seating capacity of 60 and is open Sunday and Monday, from 11:00am to 4:00pm, and Tuesday and Saturday, from 11:00am to 11:00pm. For reservations please call 305.674.7899.
