LINCOLN ROAD CELEBRATES HOLIDAY SEASON WITH MIAMI CITY BALLET

For over 30 years, the beauty and grace of the Miami City Ballet has dazzled audiences from across the globe. In celebration of the company’s long-standing cultural contributions to South Florida and specifically Miami Beach, a magical retrospective of holiday costumes, including “The Nutcracker” will be installed for display in 530 Lincoln beginning Thursday, December 8 through 2017.

“Lincoln Road has earned the reputation as the social and cultural spine of Miami Beach, which was forged in many ways by the promenade’s storied relationship with the Miami City Ballet,” shares Ivannia Van Arman, executive director of the Lincoln Road Business Improvement District. “We are honored to continue that tradition and spotlight the legendary holiday costumes of Miami City Ballet past productions and invite everyone to embrace the seasonal spirit on Lincoln Road.

Keeping with a spirit of theater in the heart of Lincoln Road, visitors can appreciate a unique 3/D projection of Miami City Ballet prima ballerina Emily Bromberg gracefully dancing around 434 Lincolneach evening as the sun sets.  Viewing will begin Tuesday, December 13, 2016 running through the holiday season.
