KANGOO JUMPS INTERNATIONAL FITNESS FESTIVAL ON FORT LAUDERDALE BEACH

The countdown is on for the U.S. debut of the Kangoo Jumps International Fitness Festival, which will take place at Bahia Mar Hotel and Resort on Sunday, October 12 from 9:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.  Kangoo Jumps fans will enjoy a great opportunity to connect with international trainers and presenters for a day of fitness and fun benefiting the YMCA of Broward County.

“With less than two weeks until the big day, we are getting excited about bringing the KJ International Fitness Festival to the United States for the first time, while supporting a vital community organization such as the YMCA,” said Jill Boyer-Holland, CEO of KJ-US LLC. “Kangoo Jumps enthusiasts are already traveling into Fort Lauderdale from across the globe to take part in this celebration of fitness and fun.”

During the festival, event-goers will be invited to participate in a series of exercise classes conducted by Trainers from around the globe, including Alejandra Leiva from Mexico, Eduardo Costa from Brazil, Timea Sifter from Hungary, Dianne Clemente and Raj Donald from the U.S., Dorina Rigo from Canada, Laura Dean from Argentina, Kinga Sebestyen and Cristian Stanescu from Romania and Merce Sebastia from Spain.  Classes will range from indoor activities, such as Kangoo Dance and Kangoo Power, to outdoor classes of Kangoo Boot Camp for adults and Kangoo Discovery for children and teens aged six and older.

In between classes, there will be rest and relaxation breaks, featuring a variety of entertainment on the main stage, including fashion shows and demonstrations.

A portion of the proceeds from the Kangoo Jumps International Fitness Festival 2014 will benefit the YMCA of Broward County.  As a leading nonprofit organization for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the YMCA aligns perfectly with this world-renowned showcase of fitness and well-being.

Attendees are encouraged to enter the Road to the KJ Festival Facebook contest for a chance to win a brand new pair of KJXR3 SE White & Black Kangoo Jumps rebound shoes by posting a picture of themselves in their KJ boots using the hashtag #RoadToTheKJFestival. The more “Likes” they receive, the better the chances of winning. The winner will be announced during the Festival.

Considered to be the lowest impact shoes on the market, KJ rebound shoes help to reduce the impact of athletic activity by up to 80 percent. The revolutionary Impact Protection System (IPS), a kind of mini trampoline attached to the bottom of the shoe, is designed to provide an alternative for individualswishing to reduce the stress associated with athletic activity. Celebrities such as Kim, Kourtney and Kris Kardashian, Anderson Cooper, Martha Stewart, Steve Harvey and others have worn these innovative athletic shoes.
