Local dignitaries, community leaders and Hollywood city officials along with members of Hoffman’s Chocolates and BBX Capital, parent company of Hoffman’s Chocolates, gathered on Tuesday, October 6th to celebrate the re-opening of the chocolatier’s Hollywood retail location in the Park Sheridan Plaza at 3341 Sheridan Street. City of Hollywood Mayor Peter Bober joined Jarett Levan, President of BBX Capital and newly appointed Hoffman’s Chocolates store manager, Darlene Eddy for the ribbon cutting ceremony. More than 75 community members, city officials including Mayor Bober and City Commissioners Patty Asseff, Linda Sherwood and Dick Blattner, Traci Callari and Vice Mayor Kevin Biederman and other local notables were also present for the festivities.
Originally opened as a Holiday pop-up store in November 2014, the newly renovated Hoffman’s Chocolates shop now features a fresh new look and feel with many of Hoffman’s Chocolates signature elements and “Celebrate” theme. The Hollywood location is also Hoffman’s Chocolates first store to offer Pareve Kosher chocolates under ORB supervision.
“We are delighted to welcome the community to experience our newly designed store,” said store manager Darlene Eddy. “Our guests will enjoy the shop’s new, vibrant-themed atmosphere and we are happy to provide even more sweet choices with our Pareve Kosher selection of chocolates.”
Hoffman’s Chocolates Hollywood store features a selection from the more than 70 types of chocolates and confectionary items including a wide variety of gourmet truffles, double-dipped chocolate-covered pretzels, customized chocolate drenched Oreos, a vast selection of distinctive gift baskets, 15 scrumptious ice cream flavors and much more.
The Hollywood store will continue the celebration on Sunday, October 18th when it hosts a grand re-opening Family Fun Day event from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Guests will enjoy activities and treats for the whole family including samples of Hoffman’s special treats and visits from Disney’s Frozen characters including Queen Elsa, Princess Anna and Olaf.
