Mountain Dew and the NBA are bringing Dew NBA 3X – a nationwide, elite 3×3 basketball competition, to Miami. Preselected men’s and women’s team will compete during the second stop of the six-city tour, to qualify for the 2017 USA Basketball 3×3 tournament.

Why:               Dew NBA 3X is the ultimate fan experience. Attendees will interact with some iconic names in basketball, listen to tunes from Miami’s biggest DJs, and get a taste of the city at local food trucks. Also, fans can check out:

 

• Appearing on behalf of the NBA, world-renowned performance painter David Garibaldi (@GaribaldiArts), who will combine paint and music for exciting, live art performances throughout the weekend.

 

• The Mountain Dew #CourtsideCollection, a pop-up gallery showcasing artwork by local artists and fans inspired by basketball and youth culture, will feature and be curated by KAZILLA(@kazilla), an internationally renowned, Miami street artist. KAZILLA will also be designing an entire basketball court that will remain after the tournament for the Miami community to keep enjoying.

 

• On Sundayan NBA FIT Clinic, hosted by Aquafina and Udonis Haslem of the Miami HEAT, will benefit The Mourning Family Foundation and highlight the importance of hydration and healthy living for 50 children, ages 6 to 14, through interactive basketball skills and drills sessions.
