Whole Foods Market Ft. Lauderdale and Himmarshee Bar & Grille are continuing their monthly dinner in May with a wine dinner featuring Grgich Hills Estate Wine. A family owned winery in Napa Valley, wines from Grgich Hills Estate are made from organic grapes and are a labor of love.
Himmarshee’s Executive Chef Chris Miracolo will be preparing a special menu for the evening while Whole Foods Market Ft. Lauderdale’s wine buyer Adriaan Dimeo will be providing attendees with more information about each paired wine at the beginning of each course.
The menu for the evening will be:
First Course
Soft Lobster Taco with Poblano, Tomatillo, Queso Blanco, and Avocado Crème
Wine: Grgich Hills Estate Fume Blanc
Second Course
Pacific Halibut Cheeks, Creamless Curried Corn, and Sauteed Wild Ramps
Wine: Grgich Hills Estate Chardonnay
Third Course
Veal & Sausage Roulade, Soft Polenta, Fiddleheads & Natural Jus
Wine: Grgich Hills Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Dessert
Spring Plum Tart served with Vanilla Bean Gelato
Wine: Grgich Hills Estate Zinfandel
