Free event celebrating The Hammer Trinity & Zelda – Comic Book Signing and Cosplay Contest – March 12

ZIFF BALLET OPERA HOUSE – PEACOCK FOUNDATION STUDIO

WHAT: News cameras and members of the press are invited to experience the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County’s Arsht Con, a FREE event celebrating the upcoming South Florida premieres of The Hammer Trinity, Miami’s first ultimate binge-watching theater experience (April 2 – May 8), and The Legend Of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses – Master Quest (April 16).

Activities include:
2 p.m. – The Hammer Trinity comic book signing commissioned by the Arsht Center (free digital copy link here) by The Hammer Trinity co-authors Nathan Allen (House Theatre of Chicago’s Artistic Director) and Chris Mathews (House Theatre of Chicago Company Member); and renowned comic artist Brett Weldele (Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics)
3:30 pm – Cosplay Contest. Themes include fantasy or pirate costumes inspired by The Hammer Trinity (Prize – PlayStation 4); and The Legend of Zelda costumes (Prize – Tickets & VIP Meet & Greet for 2 for The Legend Of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses – Master Quest on April 16). Contestants must sign up any time between 12:30PM to 2:30PM.
Variety of video games including Zelda and Super Smash Bros hosted by S.E.A.D.S. Lan Gaming
Table top games including Magic The Gathering hosted by Rock Game Shop
LAE Cosplay Photography will take portraits of Cosplayers and guests
Food and drink specials at The Café at Books & Books
