FLIPANY SERVES UP A RARE & COVETED DINING EXPERIENCE WITH ACCLAIMED CHEFS, INNOVATIVE CUISINE AND WINE PAIRINGS AT THEIR ANNUAL EVENT, CHEFS UP FRONT

Local, non-profit organization, Florida Introduces Physical Activity and Nutrition to Youth (FLIPANY), announces the return of its annual Chefs Up Front dinners. FLIPANY will be hosting two events in Miami and Fort Lauderdale with chefs from across South Florida fulfilling guests with the ultimate gastronomical experience.

 

The third annual event in Miami will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 at the luxuriousBiltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. Chefs Up Front offers guests an incomparable opportunity to have internationally renowned chefs make a customized five-course signature meal for groups of ten at their own table. Each course is prepared and presented tableside with a wine pairing for a complete decadent dining experience. This year, the organization expects to almost double the amount of participating chefs, therefore increasing the opportunity for guests to experience this highly anticipated event.

The evening, hosted by Ryan Phillips, morning meteorologist at NBC6 and long-time FLIPANY supporter, will begin with a special reception as well as an exciting silent auction alongside hors d’oeuvres and libations at 6:00 p.m. Following the reception, each chef will prepare signature courses in an intimate supper setting at 7:30 p.m. The grand festivities continue with an after party where guests will have the chance to mingle and play with these prominent chefs.

 

Ticket sales for the event in Miami start July 1, 2015 with an early bird rate of $199 until July 15, 2015. On July 16th, tickets sales will be $250 a person. For those who are travelling or simply want to revel in the full luxury experience, a special room rate will be available at Biltmore Hotel for only $149.

 

The culinary adventure will inaugurate further north with a celebration of the fifth annualChefs Up Front in Fort Lauderdale held on Friday, August 28, 2015 at W Fort Lauderdale.  The night will beginwith a 5:30 p.m. silent auction and reception followed by a 7:00 p.m.dinner and program. Anyone who follows FLIPANY on social media or subscribes to the newsletter will get an early bird discount rate of $185 from June 15 – June 30, 2015, with event code. Tickets go on sale to the public for $200 on July 1, 2015. Guests attending the event can stay at the W Fort Lauderdale for a discounted rate of $169 a night.

 

The events benefit Cooking Matters™, a program that teaches children and their families how to make healthy food choices, cook healthy meals and shop for nutritious foods on a budget.  FLIPANY is the only agency providing the program in South Florida and is the lead partner of the national Share our Strength’s Cooking Matters’ program. All money raised from the events supports Cooking Matters™ for schoolchildren and their families in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County.
