The Discover Orange Bowl Football Game – The crown jewel of the world-renowned Orange Bowl Festival, the Discover Orange Bowl matches the Atlantic Coast Conference champion against a BCS at-large team. There is more than just football, of course, as the Halftime Show features chart-topping performances and hundreds of dancers.

Art Deco Weekend – This festival celebrates the National Art Deco Historic District in Miami Beach and has more than 80 events including art exhibits, musical performances, lectures, films, street theater, parades, antique auto displays, artists, merchandise and food.

Homestead Championship Rodeo – An exciting seven-event rodeo including: bull riding, saddle-bronc riding, bareback-bronc riding, calf roping, team roping, steer wrestling, and women’s barrel racing. Fun also includes cowboy poetry performances, a parade, live music and dancing.

February

Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail – One of the largest new boat shows in the world showcasing more than 2,000 exhibitors. The latest powerboats, sailboats, engines, electronics and accessories are exhibited at three different locations — all connected via a courtesy shuttle bus.

Coconut Grove Arts Festival – Produces an annual fine arts festival during Presidents Day weekend with more than 350 artists from around the world and an average attendance of 150,000 people.

Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival – Join your favorite Food Network hosts including Rachael Ray, Guy Fieri, Paula Deen, Bobby Flay and many more for cooking demos and book signings at the American Express Grand Tasting Tents. Other events include the Perrier-Jouet BubbleQ, Wine Spectator Tastings, annual Tribute Dinner and more.

March

Winter Party Festival -Features an extraordinary lineup of celebrity DJs in a week filled with parties and events culminating with a beach dance party. Proceeds benefit the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force and local Miami-Dade LGBT organizations.

Bacardi Miami Sailing Week – Miami Sailing Week gathers the national and international sailing community together in a fun-filled week of regattas, awards ceremonies, parties and cultural exhibits.

Miami Beach International Fashion Week – The largest Latin American and international fashion event in the U.S., with more than 50 of the world’s top fashion designers presenting their latest collections on the catwalk before hundreds members of the international press.

Miami International Film Festival – The Miami International Film Festival, the premier U.S. showcase for films from Spain, Portugal and Latin America, presents 100 films from 30 countries during 10 days at venues across the Magic City.

Winter Music Conference – One of the most acclaimed music industry gatherings in the US, with more than 200 artists, DJ and record company receptions and parties, panel discussions, new product premieres, technology demonstrations, and the premier international awards show for the dance music industry.

Sony Open – This tournament features the world’s top-ranked men and women professional tennis players. It is an elite Tennis Masters Series event on the ATP circuit and a top-tier event on the WTA Tour.

Nautica South Beach Triathlon – The sister event to the Malibu Triathlon, the Nautica South Beach Triathlon features a half-mile swim, 18-mile bike ride and 4-mile run. Fun also includes an event expo, free clinics, interactive activities, VIP brunch, Nautica kids run-and-trot event, and an awards show.

Miami Beach Gay Pride – The annual Miami Beach Gay Pride is a city-wide celebration and a collaboration of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender (GLBT) community. Events include a parade/festival on Ocean Drive, a kick-off reception and evening show, a Lambda showcase theater event, an after-party and more.

Maserati Miami Beach Polo World Cup – This international polo tournament brings teams from around the world to compete as part of the Miami Beach Polo World Cup. Events include a player presentation/press conference, polo matches and social gatherings.

April-May

Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival – The festival aims to enrich, entertain and educate the public, encourage a sense of community through international and culturally diverse film, video and other media presentations in the greater Miami area that offer historical and contemporary perspectives on the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered experience.

May

Miami Museum Month – The cultural scene in Greater Miami and the Beaches is unique and diverse. During May, celebrate Miami Museum Month and receive special offers at participating museums. Offers include buy one admission, get one free or join one museum in May and see them all. This is an incredible opportunity to experience our inspiring museums.

Cuba Nostalgia – Annual expo and festival of Cuban culture, memorabilia and collectibles. Features a fine art show, exhibits, books, food and music.

Redland International Orchid Show – One of the largest annual orchid shows in the U.S. featuring more than 50 booths of educational exhibits and orchid vendors, along with An American Orchid Society judged event showcasing various types of orchids, plants, and supplies for sale. The show also features lectures by experts, raffles, and international food.

June

Summer Shorts – Summer Shorts is a fast and furiously fun program of the nation’s hottest “short” plays. Strung together in a whirlwind of bite-size nuggets, these mini-plays will have you laughing hysterically one minute and shocked beyond belief the next.

Miami/Bahamas Goombay Festival – One of the largest Black heritage festivals in the United States. Enjoy colorful costumed junkanoo groups dancing to Caribbean rhythms, with rake ‘n scrape instruments. Features entertainment on three stages and more than 300 vendors selling a variety of arts, crafts and food.

Redland Summer Fruit Festival – Summer is a time to enjoy the different fruits that are in season. The Fruit & Spice Park hosts its annual Redland Summer Fruit Festival to showcase a wide variety of rare fruits that can be enjoyed at this unique park.

July

Miami Beach Fourth of July Celebration – Free concerts and fireworks. Bring a beach chair or towel and enjoy the festivities.  Glass containers and alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

July Fourth – America’s Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park – Bring the whole family to celebrate the birth of our great nation. Enjoy music, food and beverages, a free Kids’ Zone, and one of the largest fireworks displays in South Florida.

International Mango Festival – Fairchild’s International Mango Festival celebrates the mangos of India with a selection of cultivars sure to dazzle your tastebuds! Experience the world’s largest display of more than 200 locally grown cultivars from the Fairchild’s very own collection as well as mango tree sales, tastings and evaluations, lectures, food demonstrations, children’s activities and Mangoville.

August

Brazilian Film Festival of Miami – The Inffinito Festival Circuit arrives in Miami for the Brazilian Film Festival of Miami. The Competitive Screening takes place at the Colony Theatre, with short and feature films competing for the Cristal Lens Award, the most prestigious award in Brazilian cinema outside the country.

October

Miami Attractions Month – Experience Greater Miami and the Beaches’ many unique attractions during October and enjoy special discounts on admission to Miami’s top attractions.

Miami/Broward One Carnival – With over 20 masquerade bands and 6 steel bands parading and competing for “Band of the Year” bragging rights, the streets of Miami Gardens are adorned with beautiful, colorful and intricate costumes along with the infectious musical sounds of soca. Art Miami – Miami’s longest running contemporary art fair, Art Miami, returns to the City of Miami with a compelling array of modern and contemporary artwork from more than 100 international galleries and prominent art institutions.

Art Basel Miami Beach – Art Basel Miami Beach is the most important art show in the United States, a cultural and social highlight for the Americas.
