When hosting duties call for Latino award shows such as The Alma Awards, Eva Longoria represents her Latino community well. She loves well known and established brands like Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta, but focuses on the lesser known, Colombian fashion star Esteban Cortazar and Angel Sanchez. “I used to do about 16 changes. We like to use the platform of this stage to promote Latino designers and up and coming designers that we may not have heard of,” Eva Longoria told Premier Guide Miami. “It’s just a great opportunity for us to showcase Latinos in fashion as well,” the Golden Globe-nominee and star of ABC’s Desperate Housewives shared.
