Drunken Dragon Announces Menu Collaboration with NYC’s Sweet Chick Life, Bourbonless Old Fashioned and Gallery opening during Art Basel Week

Drunken Dragon, a hidden gem nestled in an understated strip mall, void of any visible signage outside a stealthy crimson-hued “MARKET”, is Art Basel Miami’s must-try dining destination. The nationally acclaimed and local favorite restaurant is the result of the visionaries responsible for neighborhood staple, Foxhole. Homecookin Hospitality Group, set out to create South Beach’s first Korean barbecue restaurant and have successfully captured locals and celebrities alike, such as Pharell, Tiesto, Lance Armstrong, Adriana Lima, Zoe Kravitz and more.

Sweet Chick Life’s, Chef Randy Rappel is bringing his talents to SOBE collaborating with Drunken Dragon’s Chef Xavier Torres during Art Basel Week. The NYC restaurant will be bringing it’s American comfort food flair and merging it with Chef, Xavier Torres, authentic Asian cuisine. The chef collaboration menu will only be available during Miami Art Week, giving all a taste of the best NYC and Miami has to offer. For those looking to indulge in the gastropub ’s popular do-it-yourself method of table-side grilling, Drunken Dragon will also offer it’s staple menu. Whether guests roast intensely flavored selections over an energetic flame or indulge in Chef prepared mouth-watering staples via modern family-style dishes such as simmering Bulgogi with fresh sesame leaf wraps; whole fish Branzino wok stir-fry style with Red Thai Chile Sanbal; spicy Dok Boki; Peking Bao; Lobster Roll; D&D Kurobuta Dog; and Krispy Bok Choy, among others, it is sure to be a good time.

The haute eatery sure won’t disappoint for Miami Art Week by inviting guests to come explore the new cocktail additions before or after their gallery visit next door. Drunken Dragon will be launching their own take on the traditional Old Fashioned, minus the Bourbon. The three new additions are sure to raise an eyebrow or two with its Barrel-Aged Rum Cocktail with Amaretto and Orange BittersTequila Old Fashioned with Amaretto and Orange Bitters, and Barrel-Aged Hiro Sake Old Fashioned with Grand Marnier and Orange Bitters.

Homecookin Hospitality Group/Drunken Dragon owners have a passion for art incorporating it to all of their venues, from Foxhole’s murals created by Graffiti Artists Curtis Kulig, & Jona Cerwinske, to Drunken Dragon’s Studio Collective interior design firm’s creation of an ultra-modern sultry interior with steamy photography of Japanese bondage. The launching of Market Gallery was an organic fit for the owners all while collaborating with Ganem Art to curate the space. Staying true to its speakeasy approach, the gallery will remain sign-less, opening right next door to Drunken Dragon with secret installations from world renowned artists popping in and out daily.

The entrance of this lucky find is at 1424 Alton Road Miami Beach, FL.  Although it may be hard to find, it is worth discovering.
