DINE OUT LAUDERDALE KICKS OFF EARLY IN GREATER FORT LAUDERDALE WITH NEW FLAVORS, SIZZLING SAVINGS AND EXTENDED DATES

From September 1st through October 12th, diners can experience the very best of Greater “Fork” Lauderdale at more than 35 Broward restaurants offering specially created, three-course, $35 prix fixe menus. For an even more Lauder-licious experience, Dine Out Lauderdale can be combined with other destination-wide promotions this September, including the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau’s “See You in September” program, a buy two, get the third night free hotel offer at luxury hotels. 

Diners can also take advantage of Greater Fort Lauderdale’s value-packed 2-for-1 savings card with deals at more than 70 attractions, for even more deals on spas, nature, boat tours, watersports and other seaside activities.

Hailed by Fodor’s as offering “some of the finest, most varied dining of any U.S. city its size,” Greater Fort Lauderdale features more than 4,000 eclectic, applauded and award-winning restaurants, many with alfresco seating and waterfront views, plus neighborhood nooks certain to please any palate.  Cuisines range from Americana to Asian, European to tastes of the Americas.

This year’s Dine Out Lauderdale roster features notable newcomers* including: American Vintage at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, featuring traditional American cuisine in a classic steakhouse setting, Shooters Waterfront offering seafood and Intracoastal views, Italian newcomer Scolapasta and the beachfront hotspot S3 along with its buzzy Las Olas sister, YOLO. Further afield, new Dine Out Lauderdale participants include Chanson Restaurant at Deerfield Beach’s Royal Blues Hotel, where diners can enjoy an inventive “Cuisine Du Monde” menu and a stunning saltwater aquarium mounted in the ceiling and in Hallandale Beach, Adena Grill, a farm-to-table steakhouse serving grass-fed beef.

 

Also on the menu, long-standing favorites along the destination’s waterfront and beachfront promenade, throughout chic hotels and in the heart of cosmopolitan areas like Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas Boulevard.

 

To help plan, diners can survey the culinary landscape with Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau’s “Fork” Lauderdale Dining App. The free app lets users easily locate participating restaurants or a range of other eateries, romantic hot spots, family friendly fare, ethnic cuisine, steakhouses, vegan restaurants, brunch spots, and fresh sea to table offerings. The app also serves up insider tips from locals and offers nightlife options.
