Cochon555 could expand the walls of the venue to accommodate more ticketed guests, but have opted to max out, and just sell a mere 200 tickets. This decision was made with guests in mind. The event producers want attendees to rack up intimate and interactive experiences with notable chefs, and artisan producers.

Cochon555 is part of a national “Cochon US Tour” effort. Last year, it reached 20 markets across the nation with over 45 events, with the message of “heritage breed pigs”. The culinary competitions invite notable chefs all hoping to win top honors in each market. The events draw from the biggest names in the hospitality industry and we work with 16,000 consumers, 2,200+ chefs, 150+ family farms, and 16 culinary schools to continue cultivating a long-term impact on the family farming of heritage breed pigs. In 2014, the tour donated over $100,000 to local charities and spent over $90,000 on heritage breed pigs, and in the media, three little words: “heritage breed pigs, harvested millions of tasty impressions.”

The 2016 tour now stopping in Miami, continues to further the conversation of heritage pigs on dinner tables across the nation. The goal is to educate influencers, ultimately making them a better, more knowledgeable teacher.

If you’re a pork lover, plan to attend the largest all-inclusive pig-roast this Sunday, with five chefs, five pigs, and five winemakers. Cochon555 event will leave guests wondering how they ate so much great food, and planning for the next year’s event, when they’ll do it all over again.
